EEC ASDC Centre

The fully-fledged Artisan and Skills Development Centre (ASDC), with its modern, accredited workshops, is set to put EEC in the forefront of artisan training and trade testing in the Civil and Construction trades such as: electrical, plumbing, building, plastering, carpentry, roofing, painting, furniture making, etc. All our Civil Engineering programmes for Levels 2, 3 and 4 are offered on this site. In addition we have an Occupational Programmes Unit offering short courses e.g. in plumbing, furniture making, electrical and welding.

To study Civil Engineering students have to have passed Maths and Science. A pass in Grade 9 is required to enroll for Level 2 and a Grade 12 is a minimum requirement for learnerships and apprenticeships. Students can enroll for Short Skills programmes with a Grade 10.
