With a strong focus on engineering programmes, Kwa-Thema campus boasts the only National Foundry Training Centre in South Africa as well as state-of-the-art Call Centre training facilities in the accredited Contact Centre. The College has cultivated partnerships with local manufacturing companies and businesses viz paper factories, foundries and Samsung which enable artisan students to receive training in:

  • Process Plant Operations (Sappi, Kimberley Clark & Mondi)
  • Melting, Moulding & Pattern-making (Foundries: SAIF, CSIR & NTFN)
  • Refrigeration, ventilation and air-conditioning. This is offered at the Samsung Academy on the premises.

The Campus offers Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in the Report 191 programmes and Electrical, Mechanical, Primary Health and Process Plant Operations in the NCV programmes.
