Admission Requirements - Level 2 NC(V)

  • Certified copies of the latest report or results (Grade 10 / 11/ 12), Grade 9 considered on merit. 
  • Other qualifications equivalent to NQF Level 1 (e.g. ABET Level 4).
  • Certified copy of ID or birth certificate. 
  • Proof of Residence which should not be more than three months old. 
  • Parent/Guardian's certified copy of ID and their contact details.

Engineering Studies 

N1 - N3 Courses

These are offered to artisan development programmes (attached to industry).

N4 Courses

  • National Senior / Matric Certificate with mathematics and science as a compulsory passed subject.
  • N3 Engineering Studies
  • NC(V) Level 4 with at least 3 instructional offerings which are applicable to the instructional offerings chosen by the candidate for the programme or an equivalent qualification.

Business Studies

  • National Senior / Matric Certificate
  • NC(V) Level 4 with at least 3 instructional offerings which are applicable to the instructional offerings chosen by the candidate for the programme or an equivalent qualification.

Campuses can be contacted for registration dates, fees and commencement of classes.

Please note: A registration fee is payable upon registration. No cash will be taken at the Campus. A tailor made deposit slip must be obtained from the Campus. It is important that the registration number as provided by the Campus should appear on the deposit slip as reference number. Students will only be registered upon proof of payment. 

Proof of payment should be handed in at the Campus. All payments must be deposited into the bank account of the College. The outstanding balance must be paid according to the agreement with the College.

2012 Bursary Application Requirements

  • Certified copies of the report or certificate of the applicant used to apply for the course.
  • Certified copies of the applicant's ID (2 copies).
  • Certified copies of both living parent's or guardian's ID (copies of each).
  • Certified copies of the death certificates (orphans).
  • Certified copy of ID and/or birth certificate for all other members of the family (1 copy of each).
  • Salary advice or pay slip of the parent or guardian, if working (certified copies).
  • Affadavit of the parent or guardian if not working (original) or pension slip if a pensioner.
  • Proof of residential address, not more than three months old.
  • Proof of use of transport fare agreement with the transporter of the student for those who ewant to apply for transport allowance should accompany the application.

Enrolment of Foreign Students

 
Ekurhuleni East College will only enrol students from foreign countries if they meet all the requirements as stipulated in relevant national acts and regulations. These requirements include, but are not limited to, a valid study permit issued by the Department of Home Affairs and proof of evaluation of qualifications by SAQA. It is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain the required documentation.
