EEC's Marketing Department, in conjunction with the Youth Development Unit hosted a Councillor's breakfast to brief local councillors about programmes and skills development programmes offered at the College, as well as the College's achievements and future projects. This briefing was part of a Marketing initiative to promote and make known the services of the college.

EEC's Marketing Department hosted a Pastoral breakfast to brief local community pastors about programmes and skills development programmes offered at the College, as well as the College's achievements and future projects. The pastors have daily contact with local youth and parents.

18 August 2010

A Career Planning session for out-of-school candidates and students from EEC's campuses was organized by the Youth Development Unit. The attendees were given information to help them with career choices, CV preparation and interview skills.

The office of the Principal presented a travelling pack to Lesedi Ntsane, EEC student who received the opportunity to study jazz in New York, United States of America.

A farewell function was organized by Springs Campus in honour of the two Korean students who completed their Voluntary Internet Programme with them.

An HIV/AIDS Awareness Day was held at Springs Campus. Various health organizations were invited to give presentations to our students about the importance of knowing your status.

Similar sessions were conducted at all 5 EEC campuses.

The Marketing Department hosted the Award Ceremony for our NQF Level students, as well as the Diploma Ceremony, held on the same day. Top achievers from all our campuses were honoured. Thirteen NQF Level 2-3 students were awarded with Certificates and cash incentives, and 133 graduates received their Diplomas.
