 • A Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Financial Management/Management Accounting
• A minimum of 5-7 years’ relevant experience in a Management Accounting environment
 • Knowledge of the PFMA, Treasury regulations and Tax Act
 • Computer literacy with sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 • Good planning, organising and motivational skills
• The ability to work independently
• The ability to analyse problem areas and to initiate corrective measures where applicable
 • The ability to work under pressure and adhere to due dates as required
• A valid driver's licence.



• Analyse and monitor the budget and expenditure
• Manage monthly cash flow
• Correct expenditure and revenue misallocations
• Attend and immediately respond to audit queries and ensure the implementation of internal control measures to prevent over-/under-payments and possible fraud areas
• Reconcile all accounts monthly and follow-up on outstanding balances
• Manage expenditure commitments and expenditure allocations
• Ensure timeous payment of all suppliers and update tax schedule
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and
procedures for the Department
• Supervise staff and create management reports on a regular basis that are relevant to decision-making processes
 • Measure performance against measures and targets (outputs and outcomes) established during financial management planning, against budget objectives, and/or against financial management performance standards used within the College.

• A National Diploma or degree in Supply Chain/Purchasing Management
• A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
• Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain functions and processes within a Government institution
• Computer literacy with sound knowledge of MS Office
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid Code B driver's licence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and decisive under pressure
• Solution-oriented
• Solid analytical and technical skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives,
managers and subject matter experts
 • The ability to organise, coordinate and direct users and teams • Strong leadership and professional skills.



• Coordinate Supply Chain functions (demand, acquisition, logistics, disposal
and asset management functions) to ensure that projected targets are met
• Manage the implementation of stock control of orders
• Manage customer interface with regard to requirements and delivery status
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders as and when required
• Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers regarding the supply and
delivery of deliverables
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and prescripts
• Ensure proper procurement and disposal of assets.
